Events

Cambridge Meridian offers a warm welcome to anyone wishing to hold an event at the club. We welcome Societies and corporate groups – large and small. We offer a wide range of society packages.

Social Events are organised by Steve Creighton (Club Secretary) and Frank Pantry (Steward) with support from the Captain and Vice-Captain. Events are well supported and enjoyed by all!

The clubhouse facilities are also used by companies and members of the public for weddings, christenings, birthday parties, conferences and corporate events throughout the year.

Things we have done at Cambridge Meridian

• Celebrated a wedding – well lots of weddings
• Held outrageous stag nights/days
• Had a firework party – right on the Meridian Line
• Had canoe races on our lakes
• Held a special day for golfing dogs
• Hired out the whole place for Christmas Day
• Had a wake – just the one
• Held open air concerts
• Had a picnic for over 100 people
• Used the stunning venue for launching new cars
• Held all manner of birthday parties from 5th to 90th
• Demonstrated machinery and raced lawnmowers
• ...Hush, that one was too outrageous!
• Flown kites and model planes
• Fished, camped and scuba dived for golf balls
• Landed a glider, a hot air balloon and a helicopter
• Had bands, strippers and comedians blue and not so blue!
• Raised extraordinary sums of money for charities from Macmillan to MAGPAS

..... and we want more of you!

You only have to ask. The answer is very rarely "no".

Where else could you find 210 acres of glorious countryside, with mouth-watering food, willing staff and a welcome that is second to none?
